• You become physically or mentally unable to care for your pet
• You are in an accident and won’t arrive home in a timely fashion to care for your pet

A simple internet search for something like, “emergency wallet card” or “wallet card for pets” will find you lots of options like the above, cards you can carry with you to notify people that you have pets alone at home.
